G’day everyone,
DB Cooper’s infamous 1971 skyjacking and escape were legendary. As a preteen, I absorbed every story I could find about history’s anti-heroes. After all, the hit movie, “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” began my fascination, and the 70s were rife with movies and TV shows — recall “The Sting,” “M*A*S*H, “All in the Family,” “Chico and the Man,” Clint Eastwood, Peter Fonda — it’s what made us edgy during that era.
My house was built by some guy named Cooper, I used to drive on Cooper tires, and a neighbor’s dog was named Cooper. Remaining interested in DB Cooper’s mystique was natural.
Then, my publicist, CJD.sign, sent me the link to a really good summary of the DB-Cooper case. I had kept up with it, but apparently not as much as I had believed.
If you’re a fan of conspiracy stories, Back Ops stuff, or the DB Cooper case, you’ll probably enjoy getting caught up, too.
Have a mysterious day.
RJ
